Make Restaurant Style Mac & Cheese From Scratch: At Home

1-      1 and 1/2 cup of macaroni (Choose only the best selling products from the best macaroni     manufacturers )

2-      50-gram cup cheddar cheese

3-      100-gram mozzarella cheese

4-      2 tablespoon heavy cream

5-      3 cup milk

6-      Salt to taste

7-      2 tablespoon all-purpose flour

8-      Garlic powder

9-      Butter

10-  Water

11-  One tablespoon olive oil

Step 1: To boil macaroni, fill a pot with water and allow it to boil. Once the water starts to boil, add a pinch of salt and a tablespoon of olive oil. Follow this by adding macaroni. Keep stirring the water to ensure macaroni does not stick to the bottom of the pot. After 5-8 minutes (pasta suppliers in India mention the time required for boiling of macaroni on the packet, check it once before cooking), check for the texture of macaroni, and drain off the water using a strainer.

Step 2: Add 2-3 spoons of butter and allow it to melt. Once melted, add 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour to the pan. Follow this step by adding milk, heavy cream, and garlic powder. Whisk well until no lumps can be seen.

Now, add cheddar and mozzarella cheese to the same pan and whisk continuously. Allow the cheese to melt and season the sauce with pepper, salt, and herbs of your choice.

Step 3: Combine boiled macaroni and ready sauce and serve right away!
